    1107652 Starter

Replacing the incorrect starter on my 66 327 engine, and before I try to sell it, it would be nice to know what it was suppose to be used on.

The number is 1107652. I know it's not a Corvette starter. Just wondering if anyone had an application reference for this number.

"Rumor" has it that it was used on late 50s full sized Chevrolets.

Can anyone validate that, or tell me what the real usage was?

    Thanks,

    Bob

      Bob,

I am no expert but I show that starter as Corvette 63-67 (327) stamped 1107320 thru 1108361. Your starter falls in that period. It is probably a service part, not production which should be 1108361.

Someone will chime in with more specific info I am sure.

Starter GM #1107652 was used for 1957-60 Chevrolets with 6 cylinder engines.

It is in the engine specs for a 1960 Chevrolet 235 Inline 6 Engine.
I'm sure there are other applications.

Wow, you guys are quick! Thanks. Doesn't sound like a hot item. Hopefully someone needs it.

            Thanks for all the replys.
