I cant get the this to be right. Data report and trim tag

This according to the data report for my car(1964 Corvette coupe D5 tag wich is the 5 of December 1963)
The original delivery dealer was Dealer code 127 in zone 20.

The name and Address for the Dealer was:
    Cormier Chevrolet
    Long Beach, CA

    Any heard of them?

Also the tag on my 1964 coupe says D5(December the 6 1963)but the GM official Production Date was 12/6/1963 according to the data report.

Why is this? I know my car is a 1964 with a D5 tag.

    Claus-

The US writes their dates month/day/year and not day/month/year like other countries.

12/6/63 is December 6 and not June 12.

On the part I highlighted, did you intend the 5th or the 6th?????

Please double check all the dates you put in the post.

        Claus,

If 64 is like 63 the stamped production date on the trim tag would indicate fifth week December, (D5)

I know there is a change to the day of the month but not sure when it happened. My 67 is stamped B23 indicating September 23 build.

Tim, I believe starting at 1964 production the number represents the day not the week.

            Hello Claus,
            The dates are the following
D5 tag trim tag body build date is 12/5/1963 Thursday
12/6/1963 Friday is the shipping records date.
I hope this make it clear of the dates.
The Chevrolet dealer is still in open today.
            Regards,
            Drew Papsun

Off course they and i know that. This is embarassing
The date is correct because the 5 of December was on a Sunday so then the 6`th is correct
And the dealer that sold the car new is still in business

December 5, 1963 was a Thursday. This is when your body was completed. Friday, December 6 is when your car rolled past the "pay point" on the assembly line.

There was thread about this not too long ago, but I can't find it in my search.

Thanks. I know that in the US you use the date month, day, year but i use day, month, year.
I suppose i was in a little hurry when i got the delivery data about my car

So the date is absolute correct

I wonder if Cormier Chevrolet Long Beach, CA can give me some information about my car?

I just spoke to Cormier Chevrolet and as i thought they could not help me.
Any ideas on how to try to track the cars history?

From a note I received from John Hinckley on another topic.

The trim tag was probably put on the car on the 5th. When the car was at the end of the line at the Broadcast Booth, this is where the production date was manually typed on the forms. I would assume this was the 6th.

The 6th just followed the car through time and documentation.

Go back and look at post #7. If you search for the posts by John Hinckley, he explained how the timing for the body completion date and the vehicle production date works. This was discussed either in November or October of last year. The archives have a tremendous amount of information. You should use them.
