Holy Original Batman......I would think the 64 Team leader would be interested in the excellent pics in this link.

One thing that jumped out at me in the photos: the body color on the core support's lower surface. That's a detail that I sure missed when I painted my '65. Time to break out the airbrush...

how about the engine paint overspray on the valve cover? is that the way they were? or is that a touch up mistake?

Don't get me wrong because that 64 has some great pics of how things should be when a Corvette is restored.

My question is: Why has a 11,000 mile car been repainted????

Sorta make you wonder what else is being hidden doesn't it?????

IMHO the re-paint is a dead giveaway. This car is unlikely to be as represented. The gauge housing has been repainted in flat black. Doesn't match the glove boxes semi gloss. If the cluster has been pulled, all bets are off. If it only has 11k on it? It wasn't very well taken care of. Must have been driven 2 winters in the rust belt and then stored.

IMHOThe price is a joke and so is the car.

On the other hand I had a new 1979 L-82 repainted by the dealer at their cost. Many factory Corvette paint jobs were unforgiveably poor.

No antenna and no ignition shielding gives the impression of a radio delete car. Is it me or did this 12,000 mile car have a sideaways radio installed at some point (see photo # 34) ?
