    Engine Rebuild in St. Louis

I have an original 64 coupe L75 engine that I would like to have rebuilt. Can anyone recommend someone in the St. Louis, MO area?
    Thanks,
    Doug

Try Button Machine shop in O'Fallon, Mo 636-978-4401. They do great work and have been there a long time.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely check them out. I am also sending in my application for the St. Louis chapter.

Do you know of anyone else in the St. Louis Chapter who can recommend someone local. I thought I should talk to 2 or 3 shops in case they can't get to it for awhile or have a high estimate.

        Thanks again,
        Doug

          Doug,

I belong to the St. Louis Chapter and we would glad to have you as a member. We meet the second Thursday of every month at JJ's Restauant in St.Charles. If I can help in anyway please contact me or Kelly.

I would also be happy to introduce to the guys up at Button's, you would be happy with there work. They've been in business ( same location ) for over 35 years.

There are a number of members who frequent this board so I'm sure they'll chime in.

          Hope to see you soon.

            Doug,

You might try Pete Rizo. Here's his info:

Pete Rizo's Auto Repair 6332 Arsenal St Saint Louis, MO 63139 (314) 645-3444

Pete is a good guy, very honest. He does Corvette restoration. He can do an engine rebuild. When it was time to do mine, Pete sent me to Vern Ruble, who does his machine work. Here's Vern's info:

            Ruble's Machine Shop
            618-210-6062

Vern will come to you to pick up and deliver parts.

            Joe
