    Check out your AIM under the U69 option. I believe the connections will be shown ther for all the capacitors associated with the radio option.

        The capacitors are there because your car has a radio. They would not be there if it was a radio delete. The capacitors are part of the radio option and therefore are shown on the radio U69 page of the AIM.
        Capacitors were used on electrical noise generating devices (such as switches and contacts) because the body is fiberglass and doesn't shield the radio system. That is also the reason that the sparkplug wiring is shielded in Corvette which have radios.

          Do you have the Assembly Manual? All the radio noise suppression capacitors are shown in the U69 (radio) section, on sheets A5 and A6.

            Frank..I checked my 67 AIM should be the same for 66 and it should be connected to the outboard Ammeter terminal..Bill
