67 marina blue paint flake

Does anyone know where I can obtain the specifications for the currently manufactured flake that is closest to the original flake?

It has been stated that modern flakes are larger than the old original flakes. That they don't make the correct flake anymore etc. I don't find that is the case. I do find that the offset formulas call for flakes that are larger than the original. Usually if you substitute the same amount of fine flake for the medium or coarse called for in the modern formula, you will usually come up with a comparable look.

I went round and round with this and ended up happy and two Top Flights and a Bloomington gold with PPG Global. That is their best paint line. That is if you are going with base coat/clear coat.

Did you have to custom mix the paint or was the PPG formula for the 67 Marina Blue color accurate? What size flake was used?
