    71 ls6 454 holley info needed

71 ls6 4spd was holley #4802A for the 4 speed, GM#3986195 and I belive came with 72/76 jets, what were the power valve specs?? The 3310-1 says it came with 10.5 primary and 8.5 secondary. Does holley have these specs anywhere??

I am sure JOE wil know

i bet the carb had a molded filler in the metering body area next to the float bowl to reduce the fuel volume for emission readings. most all OE holley carbs had this in the 70/71 time frame. those carbs were set up to meet emissions not performance. those carbs were jetted lean with a richer power valve restriction to get them thru emission tsting. i had a new 70 454 450 HP chevelle that was set up like this.

          Jeff----

The jets are 70 and 76.

By the way, the application used a Holley 4803A and not a 4802A.

            the 4803 (6808 A) uses a different pri metering body than the 4802(6671 A)
