I thought that may have meant fuelie but other fuelie I see have 100% of the cove painted the contrast color so why is that car like that? just curious.

Brandon,
Not knowing the history or the car it's hard to say. A few possible reasons are because whoever they had paint it was not familiar with Corvettes or the guy that had it painted liked it to be a little different and just wanted it that way.

True, I just didn't have that thought in my head since it was such a nice and rare car I figured it was done correctly. The reason I ask is my 58 when I took the fins off in the cove area had original Regal Tourquoise color under them mine had been repainted a diff color in the past but it was originally regal T and under the fins was the original regal T color so I wonder if my car was painted regal T without contrasting cove colors I just always assumed they were white originally. The original owner picture I have of the car is of the front end so doesn't tell me much!
