On a 67 L71.......after looking at the archives for about an hour or so, along with Dave Fiedler's diagrams, I have a mock up of the TI wiring done. I had to cut the terminal off the #12/#18 pink wires which normally go to the coil +. The #18 gets a new female terminal(male plastic plug), which connects to the pink pigtail coming off of the distributor "L" connector. This goes to the solenoid "R" terminal for full voltage starts. The rest was relatively straightforward using the diagram.
So the #12 pink wire ends that are in the engine/forward lamp harness.....These are left unconnected right? These are marked in the photos as "?#1"(cut from pink pair to coil+) and "?#2"(ballast resistor).
How were these normally left disconnected on original builds? Just taped up or was there a special end to insulate them. Both are unpowered/unused, being the same wire going nowhere for TI.
