Re: Buyer Beware
Maybe someone just put a tripower intake on the original motor? (trying to look at this with the "glass half full")Chris Enstrom

Re: Buyer Beware
There are several 67's that have been listed for months and they show so few pictures, including none of the engine compartment that I wonder how serious they are about selling the car. There's another yellow one that has only one picture.
I had bought a 400 and 435 hp manifold and carbs in the hopes of one day putting one of them on my car, but never did and sold them on ebay. I wonder whether they are on freshly built cars today.- Top

Re: Buyer Beware
While we're at it, there's a maroon 427/435 on ebay right now that has side exhaust. Very nice looking car, but it's an AOSmith body. He shows a good frame stamping so I'm guessing the VIN tag hasn't been switched. The trim tag rivets look strangely oxidized, but why put on an AOS trim tag? I suppose it must be the engine that has been changed.- Top
