Early '67 400 horse tank stickers

Did the window sticker describe the L68 option the same way on early cars?

I have a photo of a tank sticker in the 1300 s/n range that shows convert 390 to 400. I see no anomalies in the picture to make me doubt that it's real.

I have never seen GM refer to these as "triple 2 bbl carb". In tech literature and carb adjusment brochures sent to dealers it's always "three Holley 2-barrel carburetors" or " 3x2 barrel carburetors".

On tank stickers, as others have mentioned, it's "convert 390 to 400", at least it is on VIN 03169, a Canadian-delivered car.

Thank you, my car is a tick over the 1,000 one built. It sounds like the change was made shortly after this. I wish I had the window sticker to see it the "triple 2 bbl" designation carried over to the window sticker.
