The '57 Assembly Manual shows 1995072.

John is correct as my 1957 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (March 1957) lists GM # 1995072 in Gr. 2.485 for the 57 Corvette.

GM # 1995072 was replaced with GM # 1995082 as my 1963 Chevrolet Parts Catalog lists GM # 1995082 for the 1957 Corvette.

I sold my 58, 59, 60, 61, and 62 Chevrolet parts catalogs a few years ago so I can not tract the actual part number history with the date of the change.
