    Steering Gear Finish

Is the Steering Gear natural or black for 1975. It is my understanding that they went to black in the early 70'S. Nothing is mentioned in the Judging Guide. Thanks, AL

    AL-
Just looked at my 73-74 T.I.M & J.G. Manual and it comments on the STEERING SHAFT but not the steering gear / box itself (page 98 of the 73-74 Manual)....interesting?

Alger, In the 70-72 JM it says that around L71-72 the boxes went back to black. I would think that it contiuned.
