Just cleaned the wood and was asking for a product that would clean up the paper jacking inst. and posi label? They are real dirty and want to save them. Thanks in advance.

Re: C-1 trunk Board
Hey Jerry, from the "for what it's worth department", I would leave them alone and take a very minor condition deduct. I completely understand your dilemma and would only consider a very mild cleaner used with a slightly damp sponge only if there is plenty adhesive over the stickers and you are not cleaning directly onto the paper. Otherwise I wouldn't go near them. Good luck. I hope all is well.

Re: C-1 trunk Board
Jerry, to clean paper the art restorers use a bag full of eraser pieces. The eraser bags are available from art or drafting supply stores. Anything else you run the risk of damaging the labels. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Re: C-1 trunk Board
Unless things have changed, there are no correct reproductions of the labels. The fonts and other things differ. However, if I'm wrong please let me know who has the correct ones.
If not yet available, it would be great if someone could scan a nice original label so we could reprint an exact copy.- Top

Re: C-1 trunk Board
Jerry, I have used Gary's bag of eraser pieces and it works well. I have also used wall paper cleaner (similiar to a handfull of putty) but I don't know if it is still available, it was 50 years ago.
