Interesting ad. I love the comment "too bad about the split window, how do you fix that".

Go to the auction website and you will find some interesting information.
The cars are rough but advertised as projects.
The one in primer has 65 fenders on it.
The 63 fenders will be auctioned off separetly.
The engines will both be auctioned off separetly.
The transmissions will be auctioned off separetly.
I would think that this is typical of the auctioneer as to maximize the sale prices. But if you buy the car I'm sure you will pay dearly for the engine and trans.
Possibly an auctioneer can comment on this.

Seriously, you buy one component and the other two are held for ransom. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how much they go for.

You got that right - you are out right screwed either way, but if the cars go first, expect a bystander to up that motor price to the moon, if the engines go first, they will be for sale for double at the end of the day, and the only thing that rhymes is stay away. But given it is OH, Napoleon is not too far of a drive should be plenty of players in the game.

I would not trust that the engines are original for these cars.

If the engines are original to the cars, I feel that the auctioneers are making a mistake by selling the engines separately. He does have the caveat in his ad though, he knows nothing about collector cars.

                  Dick,
The auctioneer is a younger guy who usually does farm auctions, antiques and 4 door sedans from the 80's and 90's, no classic car experience.
I feel what he is doing will scare off some serious bidders.

                    Hi,
One of the replies is about using one of the cars as a daily driver to p.o. the Corvette crowd.
I think if he actually practices his screen name, THAT would be enough to p.o. (or at least disgust) most everyone.
                    Hint: 'sans pants'.
                    Regards,
                    Alan
