Need names of restoration companies in Northeast Ohio. Need only body restoration for 1966 convertible, frame and motor are done.

This shop is in Dover, OH. It's Larry Murhpy's son, Mark. Larry is an NCRS member, master judge as well as a Bloomington Gold judge. They have done work for me and I was very satisfied.

Agree with Donally (for a change) on that shop and there is another restorer up there, who is not well known, but does a VERY good job ( I have judged several cars he has done). His name is Paul Schuster and his contact info can be found on the members list above.

Isn't Paul the national paint guru for the NCRS? Both guys are reputable!

Charles, Tom Ames is the paint guru, but Paul is also a go to guy with questions. He has done some absolutely beautiful, very high scoring, restorations. He has to "make no excuses" for his work

Jim; In Corvette Fever (2006) Mallet Cars, Berea Ohio and RPM Restorations, N. Canton Ohio were both listed as Corvette shops you can trust. I have no personal knowledge of either, perhaps other members may provide input.

I think Mallet is long gone from that area if I'm not mistakin'.

Mallett has actually moved to Concord, NC. Looks like they are still in business though.
