Re: 67 - Stop & Rear Hazard lights not working

The plastic connector should be the original black one.
You have to take it off the column harness anyhow to thread the harness up through the steering column to remove the old, and install the new one on a 67.
It comes off with a very small flat blade screwdriver used to bend the little tabs on the connector wires. A little tedious job
You can practice on the new one.
Make sure you mark the connector for the first wire at the side of the connector. The others all go in order and the connector socket on the other side is empty. (I once reversed the positions and the switch didn't work
)
Make sure you bend the little tabs on the connectors back before you insert them into the connector.
