    Re-Use of Head Bolts?

In 1988, I rebuilt my 1972 350 engine, assembling it with new GM head bolts.
In 17,000 miles since that rebuild, the heads have not been removed.
I may be removing the heads later this spring. When re-installing the heads, can I safely re-use the existing head bolts, or should I replace them at that time?
    Thanks!

      Clem,
Thanks. Since they've only been torqued once, I would hope they have another 'pull' left in them.
