NO it is not possible as the NCRS does not want a lawsuit dropped on their heads (again).

Here's my Black / Black one on U-Tube. I took it apart, and stripped everything by hand, including interior and underneath. I hope I live long enough to put it all back together.

Wow, that's a good video and I have NEVER EVER seen one stripped that clean inside and out!!!!!

That 63 Split must have been one of those rare flared fender limited versions. Ha Ha! At least it is an early 63 as we can tell by the white glass. I had a 14000 63 and it was mostly gray glass.

Good luck with your restoration. If it is completed with such detail as the job of stripping it will be perfect.

The NCRS such as the Board or Cincy will not release information on WHO is the owner of what Corvette, color, options, serial number etc. Even though the NCRS is not a secret organization information cannot be released to just anyone.

Nobody regulates what you desire to do as long as it's within the boundaries of the law.

Then again there are those.................

Hi Terry it may have not been a orig black car, (could have been any color) I still have my 65 that I bought there in 86, what the odds that black 63 still has the same owner, and remembers the seller, the only way I know I bought my car there in 86 is I still have the cardboard license plate. I do understand it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but I need to try,even if the car was not originally black, How many SWC feulie cars were sold at Carlilse in 1986 and the buyer traded my 67 327-300 coupe for it, it just might ring a bell for someone, I will try an ad in Driveline at least it will reach a lot of members, I just felt it may have been easier to contact current members who actually have a 63 fuelie coupe.
