Trim tag STD. (ECL's)

I am confused about how to determine what options came on a car with the STD / STD. on the trim tag, since there are no ECL letters.

I have read the Authentication book for trim tags an number of times to no help.

I understand that it will be "black vinyl", but what about the interior options included or excluded?

(Sample is '65 convert from St Louis plant "STD." black vinyl, PW, tele)

I was under the impression that if there is no ECL, you can't for sure include or exclude options based only on the trim tag. Isn't that correct ?

Black interior (vinyl or leather) "STD" trim codes didn't carry any ECL codes, so there are no clues to any body-affecting options one way or the other (which is why they're popular with folks "re-configuring" a car during restoration).
