Re: Air filter anyone???
The A329C used on small block Corvettes ended in late 1974 model production and they all carried the "BEST WAY TO...." message. It was replaced with the A348C. Sometime in late '74 or '75 production the "BEST WAY TO..." message was deleted.
If anyone has documentation as to when this occurred, please post the information.- Top

I bet you don't get the GM box which is NOS. He probably uses the box over and over again.
"I TAKE SPECIAL CARE IN PACKING RARE NOS PARTS TO HELP PREVENT ANY DAMAGE WHICH USUALLY INCLUDES STRONG AND EXPENSIVE TYPE TAPE AND BOXES. SOMETIMES IF I HAVE AN ODD SHAPED, BULKY, AND/OR VERY EXPENSIVE PART TO SHIP, IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER WHILE I TRACK DOWN A SPECIAL BOX."- Top

You are right on Patrick. It's amazing how attached some sellers get to a "box".I bet you don't get the GM box which is NOS. He probably uses the box over and over again.

Re: Air filter anyone???
I can't tell you how many times I've seen a rare GM part (box only) for sale on eBay. No part inside, just the box. You don't have to be a Detective to figure that one out!

Re: Air filter anyone???
It is not like the 1970-72 factory originals I have seen. Those of you who were at Concord last summer saw a factory original on a 1972 -- and it wasn't like this one. Close, but no cigar. Configuration and date issues.Terry- Top
