Question for Duke W. about Oil

Duke..I have a 327/350 that has been rebuilt to original specs. It has Royal Purple Break-in oil in it and has 300 miles on it with numerous heat cycles. When should I remove this oil and put in Shell Rotella T Triple Protection 15W40 oil?..Bill

Paul..I know your motor well and you don't need a spare. You have a great car there and we both know the history on that car..Bill

You also might want to refresh your engine oil knowledge by reading the following reprint that was originally published in The Corvette Restorer a couple of years ago. Given your member number you may not have received that issue.

Network Solutions - Original domain name registration and reservation services with variety of internet-related business offerings. Quick, dependable and reliable.

Engine oil article begins on page 3.
