    1963 360 Hp Valvecover Decal

I have seen two types of decals offered for the L84. One is a peel and stick metallic-looking decal and the other a waterslide decal that is not metallic at all. My AIM doesn't distinguish that I can tell, although it calls for a "Decalcomania" whatever that is. Which one is correct?

The "waterslide" decal is the one originally used. This is the type that's referred to as "decalomania".

Then Joe, that's what I'm using. Thanks, I thought that was the answer but wanted to make sure.

The only problem I've had with the "water slide" decal is shelf life. I had a stock on hand and recently cleaned my covers while doing a valve adjustment. My existing "water slides" had been on for a number of years and were peeling at the edges. When I tried to use some new ones, they all broke up, I could not find one good useable one out of four, so ended up using the adhesive back type. Also, placement with the latter is much easier.
