Value of a used spring??

Was hoping someone could help out. What would the reasonable value of a used, but rebuildable (assuming no cracks, needs liners, paint, bushing cups, etc...), 9-leaf spring be? Thanks for your comments!!

I paid $45 for mine. Just cleaned it up, some paint, and new liners.

Just to follow up, last year when I bought mine I saw others on ebay sell in the range from about $40 to $70. All seemed to be in about the same condition.

The problem with buying these old springs is that you can't tell how much rust damage until you take it apart.

IMHO, used springs are the best way to keep original ride height.

If you contact one of the shops that has a ready supply of used springs, like Pacific Corvette or America's Finest Corvettes, you're not going to get a good used spring for $40 or $45. I believe the cost will be at least $100, plus probably $25 or so for shipping & handling.

For my '72, I had purchased a used 9 leaf spring (in excellent restored condition) three years ago from America's Finest Corvettes for $300. As I live somewhat near AFC, I had made arrangements to pick-up the spring at their shop.
