I found him. But when I put his name in the search drop down box in the member list, it came back blank.

Lyndon, I believe the search function searches the forums, and not the member list. You can search for posts by a member by going to the "advanced search" function. Type the members name in the box on the right and a drop down will come up. In this case you have to know that Pete is registered as Peter and his name will show in the drop down box when you get to "Peter L". If you find any of his posts, you can send him an email or PM from the drop down by clicking on his name.

Or you can hunt for his name in the member list, but it still helps to know he is registered as Peter. Same first name issue with Bill or William, and a host of other first names that have multiples including my own -- am I Terry not Terrance or Terrence?

All that futzing around is why I posted his email address, although I don't usually do that for privacy reasons. The Wild Wild Web can be a dangerous place.
