    Previous owners confidentiality rights

I would like to ask on this forum if anyone remembers or knows anything about my Vette and the previous owners.

Can I have your opinions on this issue, please?
    Thanks,
    Gary

any former corvette owner would love to see their name published on this board or anywhere on the internet.

To a great deal of past corvette owners the car could have been just that, a car.

Just because you are the third owner, or whatever does that give you the right to invade someone's privacy?

      We need a reality check.

I think I'll err on the side of caution and not publish their names.
                Thanks for your input,

I follow Tom's same line of thinking. I only post a name if it can easily be found with a 30 second google search (i.e. dealership owners, etc.)

In the same line of thought, I never, ever post anyone's VIN number that I might happen to know of. I'll never forget the posts of fellow member's whose vintage Corvettes were registered on Corvette registries, ...without their knowledge or consent (most like by well-meaning individuals, not the owners of the website).
