    6-Bar Seat Belt Webbing

    I found some 6-bar, but it is black or beige; need reddish-orange. Has anyone ever tried to bleach out the color and then dye the bleach belt material? I am trying to avoid paying $600 for correct webbing for a driver car.

          Thanks for the archive info. I did not think to search for redye. I have decided I will send my buckles/tongues to a reputable vendor and let them make a new set of belts for my 1960. I would probably never get the color correct.
