Photo request - original midyear license plate screws

Does anyone have a photo of an original license plate attachment screw from a midyear? Dimensions would also be helpful. Are the fronts and rears the same?

I'd like to replace the stainless pan-head screws that I'm currently using on my '64 with something more correct.

The front and rear are the same I believe. My two pictures are from orignal 64 stuff.

I don't know this for a fact but I suspect that these aren't correct for all mid years specifically 66. Would someone post pics of other mid year screws also? Thanks

Russ, I believe you are correct. I know 63 was unique, possibly 64 also.

The screws/nuts in Alan's center picture are correct for all 63-65's, front and rear.

Don't have image of original 66-67 screws which are the larger pan head but as Michael indicates image provided is correct for years stated.

OK. I'll take a crack at this I'm not sure but I think these are both correct for 66-67's just a different vendor

Bill, I think those are the correct ones but wanted to be sure. They are used at least thru 73 and I think much later than that. I am also told that they are suppose to be about 5/8 inch long

That's what these are 5/8" long. The head is 9/16"

Now that we have the correct screw, what should the finish be? I have seen shiney screws but I also have a set that looks much duller almost like a grey paint. (I know there are not suppose to be painted)
