1954 tires
I'm planning on buying tires soon and because this car will be a driver should I get the originl type wide whites or go with the radials. These cars need all the handling help they can get. I want it to look right with my nos hubcaps. Thanks folks.

bfgoodrich have the silvertown radials which have wide whitewall. the radials are the only way to go on a "driver car". i have bias tires on c1s (for judging), and they are all over the road on country roads. the radials i put on my 55 give me a more comfortable ride. handling is unbelievable in comparison with the bias tires and i never have to slow down for railroad tracks or bumps in the road.
