'61 2x4 '653' intake

I have a 2x4 intake off a '61 Vette with what I believe is a casting date (11 18) under the heat shield. I don't know how to interpret it, can anyone enlighten me? Thanx in advance

If the first number is a one and not an I, then it would be Jan. 11, 1958. If it is an I then it would be Sept, 11, 1958. Are they spaced the way you typed them with a space between the second and third number one? Hope this helps

Thanx for the info. The first digit is a 1, and the second looks like it could be either a 1 or an I. There is more seperation between the second and third digits than the others. I will attach a pic to simplify the description. Thanx again.
