I've got the wrong block in my first day of production 70 Vette. I need a 350 / 300 HP late 69 block. On craigslist is a 69 Vette engine. They write that the engine number is 3970010. What number would I be looking for?

3970010 is the casting number of the block. This would be correct for a 1970 small block. They were used in Corvettes starting in July 1969. NCRS allows a 6 month window before your cars build date on the engine casting date.

Before you jump to an expensive conclusion tell us some more about your first day of production 1970. There are some unusual features to the first day of 1970 production, so give us some dates and numbers, please.
