    water inlet indentification

Does anyone know if water inlet GM 3786018 belongs to a corvette? The numbers are hard to decipher so it may be 3795018. I do not know where to look to find out. Thank you.

    John,

You can find the information in vintage Chevrolet parts catalogs but usually you need many of them. I have most all of them from 1963 to 1977 (about 55 or so) but I am still missing the April 1970 catalog. I paid as little as $25 and as much as $150 for catalogs probably averaging about $50 or $60 each for a total of about $3000.

GM # 3795013 was a water outlet used on 1962 Chevrolet passenger cars w/6 cyl. engines as shown in my 1963 Chevrolet parts catalog (effective Oct. 1962) in Gr. 1.153.
