1960 extra holes in the firewall?

I have my 60 body up on its side and have been cleaning the bottom and firewall areas, and patching all the extra holes that got drilled over the past 50 years.

Can someone with a 60, or even maybe a 58 or 59 take a look and let me know if the holes I have pictured are not supposed to be there, or if so, what they are for?

In picture one, I have labeled the holes that I can identify and there are three holes with a question mark that I can not identify. Also, I scanned a page from the AIM and it only shows the holes that I have been able to identify.

The holes in question on my 1960 are plugged with grommets; pushed in from the interior of the car.

Upon further inspection, the two grommets are holding up part of the firewall insulation.

Never thought of that. I didn't know it when up under this area. I actually have a new set of firewall insulation that I order just to make sure I had all the holes aligned. I'll check it out. I assume it is the two outermost holes where I have the question marks.

I'm not sure what the third extra hole is, the one that had a bolt screwed into it now. Do you also have that hole?

I just took my car to the shop for repair; sorry I can't provide you with an answer on that.
