Re: C3 fuel and break line replacement help.
You are in my prayers. I just finished the task a few weeks ago, I'm still in recovery.
First, is your car an auto or standatrd? If automatic (my '72 is) you can get them in in one piece because the crossmember can be dropped. I've read reports that it can be done on a manual car with a fixed crossmember but I can't imagine how.
Second, I would reccomend that you remove them in one piece, a real pain, but it's a preview to the task ahead. I did this and looking back, it took me about the same amount of time to remove them as to install.
Third, the task of getting the lines over the rail in the back will require that you unbend and rebend the nicely made lines you bought. Once in place you'll have to work at getting them back into shape and clamped. They won't look as good as they were when they were new.
Fourth, patience, patience, patience.
It can be done but it's a B*&^h of a job. Another thing, my complete rear suspension and fuel tank was out of the car when I did it. I now understand why people prefer to lift the body, I would think twice if I have to do it again. If you want pictures of what I did I'll be glad to share.
Good luck!!! If you have any questions feel free to ask, I've left a lot out, especially those words that are innapropriate!

Re: C3 fuel and break line replacement help.
Same as Lynn. The brake lines aren't nearly as tough and can be done without much hassle. If you want, do those first for practice.
Good luck with the fuel line. I tried to install it in 1 piece, but it ended up bending so I cut it and spliced it. Not a very fun job, and I was thankful that my son was there to help. 14 year olds can be useful.
See my splice below - I later removed the extra bands I used to keep them together.

Re: C3 fuel and break line replacement help.
Do you actually need to replace brake and fuel lines? If it is not an absolute have-to case, use your originals.
