Source for free spinning washer nuts & other

I am looking for 8-32 free spinning washer nuts with a 0.500" washer diameter and 3/8 hex. These were used to hold the weatherstrip on my convertible top but some had been replaced with other nuts. I'd like to buy a box of them

Also the rocker moldings have two attach points with vertical screws with nuts that are made from sheet metal. Any ideas on where to find these?

Lastly some catalogs depict fender type washers between the nut and convertible frame (the associated screws hold the weatherstrip on). Other sources do not show these washers. I assume that the convertible top and frame arrived at the assembly plant as a subassembly, is this correct?

I will try to get some photos of the fasteners in question tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Mike

The nuts you seek are available from AMK Products (www.amkproducts.com).

The convertible tops were received at St. Louis as an assembly. However, most of the weatherstrip and some hardware was added at St. Louis and not supplied as part of the top assembly.

I do not think that any fender-type washers were used for weatherstrip attachment.

Thanks Joe, another question...what bolts were used to hold the brackets for the shift cable and steering column lock cable to the (TH400) transmission. They are 5/16-18 about 1" but I don't know what style or headmark.

Also, in the attached photo, can you identify the parts shown. I found the two small caps in the area forward of the radiator they look like covers for sharp sheet metal screws but I have never seen these before Also what are the brackets?
