22-25 lbs is proper for bias plys. I'm not sure of the answer for your spare size. I've always used an original 54 spare. It's a firestone that is the same rim size, same tire size but is narrower that the new repros

1. All five tires (and rims) were the same size. Reproduction 6.70-15's are larger in cross-section due to the DOT requirement to inflate them hot out of the mold; this wasn't done in the 50's-60's before DOT requirements were implemented.

2. Recommended tire pressures are shown in the owner's manual.

One of the DOT requirements that became effective in the 1968-1971 period was to inflate every DOT-certified tire to a specified pressure as soon as it left the mold. Don't know offhand what the logic was, but that's the requirement. I think Duke has more detail on it.
