    1970 Headlight Switch Adjustments

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the Micro Switches on the headlamps. The Dirvers side looks like it is making conntact when the headlamps are up but the passenger side is not, any suggestions I am trying to mget the headlight indicator off on the dashboard when the headlights arfe fully extended.

I don't believe there is any adjustment there. You might want to check the micro switch with an ohm meter to see if it is working, or jumper the socket with a paper clip to be sure the wires are working.

Be careful raising and lowering the headlights (or wiper door) with your hands or fingers near the mechanism if there is any residual vacuum in the system. Those linkages will eat your appendages in a heartbeat, and you will suffer for it.

      Les,

it could be several things but it sounds like you need to adjust the actuator rod on the headlight that does not fully lock. In order to do this is is best to remove the actuator rod clevis and unscrew the eye one or two turns the reattach and check the operation.
