    David,

The 3770529 fan is still available from GM for a list price of $104.91. You can get it from gmpartsdirect.com for $75.63 including S&H.

It almost certainly has FRONT stamped into the front and will be missing the W stamping on the back.

Gary - While the currently available 66-67 sb fan blade assembly for non-C60 Corvettes is reasonably priced and functionally OK, the versions I have seen are "ink" stamped FRONT on the center hub and have interesting flat head button rivets that have a combination of 3 alphanumeric characters stamped in them, plus they do not the the "H" stamped into the center hub and no "W" stamped into the back of one the support arms. Pete,

I didn't know about the characters on the rivets. That and the missing W should be spotted by a good judge.

My first 1966 (#16401) 327/300 non AC fan only had an H stamped on the front center hub and a W on one of the blade arm backs. Same stamps on my current 1966 (#27592) 327/300 non AC fan. No "FRONT" stamp on either one.

            Jim,

I think the conclusion for originals fan is: an H on the front; a W on the back; and nothing else.

So if one was to hypothetically find a letter "W" stamp that was the correct font, would NCRS object to self-stamping the "W"?

                Thanks.

You should probably be looking for this font, on my big block [has '66' and 'FRONT' on the other hub side].

Oops, forgot to add that the front side also has the [skinny] letter 'H'.

If that was to happen I believe that a NCRS-CSI would be created and our dues would go up.

                        Pete,

I don't quite understand your comment. I would never even think about faking a part as I could care less about Corvette "points". The only points that I care about is how many the Patriots score.

Dave - A "tongue-in-cheek" comment. Numerous things have been done to get 'judging" points and some attempts are easily detectable and others are "spot-on" and are very difficult to detect and present a challenge during judging.

Patriots "points? More important down here in the Land of Enchantment is the "heat" of the green chiles on the Scoville index. Pete
