Brake light problem

Hi Guys,

Both brake lights work perfectly without the headlights on. However, when you turn on the headlights and then hit the brake pedal, the passenger side brake light goes out.

I've check to see if there is power on both socket terminals with the brake lights and headlights on and there is.

Any suggestions?

Almost always a bad ground or a crossed bulb socket.

Was the bulb in wrong, I had one do that and found that the bulb was in wrong, must have been grounding wrong? Brad

To be honest, I'm not sure. I replaced the bulb with two different ones but also found a fuse blown. Now it all works, so I'm sure what it was but regardless it is fixed!
