62 harmonic balancer bolt size???

I just realized that I am missing the center bolt that goes into the harmonic balancer on my 62 327.

Can someone please tell me what the bolt length is as well as the size/thread?

This is a grade 8, correct?

Are you sure there have to be one. I know its a '62 but my '59 haven't a bolt there only the spacer and the balancer. I was just thinking that maybe its the same type of Crankshaft!

What HP and what VIN? Check the end of the crank and make sure you have threads in the crank. Early 62's had no provision for the bolt, later 340 and 360 cars did. You could be missing it because it was never there.

The engine is a 340HP with an April 62 date.

If I put my finger in the hold, I can feel what feels like threads. I do not recall if there was a bolt there or not when I purchased the car a year ago.I just noticed it when doing my detailing.
