That could work well. I can't leave until 4 or 5 PM on Wednesday, but I have to overnight someplace. Saganaw is as good as anywhere.

5 1/4 hours for you to get to Saginaw if you go directly there. Let me know if you'd rather not drive that far on Wednesday evening.

FYI I've got all day Thursday off which should be plenty of time to get to London and include a side trip to Saginaw.

Saginaw is 3 hours from here no matter how I Mapquest it. It's 35 miles "out of the way" for both of us going north from Flint and about 3 hours (border guards willing) from there to London.

That sounds like a plan. I like the idea of overnighting in/near Saginaw. I could have issues getting through the traffic here at the time and where I have to leave from so Saginaw as a goal works.

On the way to New Jersey we overnighted near Toledo, so the distance is good. I lose and hour too.

You may find a better selection of hotels around Flint.
No guarantees, though.
