1957 Heater Box

Picture of the heater box that we have in our 57 with a "y" for the hoses. doesn't match the AIM or listed with CC or paragon. Is this aftermarket, dealer install? Suggestions?

Never seen anything like this mess. Should be a cardboard box with hoses coming out of 2 ports on the top of the box. Corvette Central and most all suppliers sell boxes that are at least 95% correct. The staples holding the cardboard may or may not pass judging. Otherwise they look good. Expensive though. I'm sure several of us could post photos if you want. -Dan-

Yeah that would be great! They are listed in the catalogs but no pics. Also saw the cardboard box cost $200+

Looks sort of like a y diverter from a 53 to 55 ? Corvette.
Definately not for a 57.
