Re: C2 front align W/radials
Personally, I almost always start out with a search when looking for info, but I hate to say it, it can be very cumbersome at times to wade through all of the non-pertinent info that comes up during a search of the archives. I always feel fortunate that there are some folks here willing to share their knowledge, sometimes repeatedly. Not to mention, sometimes answers change as better info becomes available.- Top

Re: C2 front align W/radials
Duke,Larry;
I actually started with a history search and got bogged down with discussions on springs, ball joints, tie rods, steering wheel alignment, etc. However I agree checking history makes sense. I may not be that good at selecting the ideal wording to obtiain the best research results. (May need to practice this)
Anyway, I was interested in the thinking of today and in hind sight my question may not have been that clear.
I was really wondering if a soft compound radial tire would require special alignment, any suggestions on soft compound radial tires, and suggested size of the tire.
Thank you both for the response.

Re: C2 front align W/radials
I think you were right on target asking the question. I did not mean to imply you had not searched adequately. To the contrary, I figured you had and like I have in the past, found it tough to wade through everything to get a straight answer. I am glad you asked for no other ether reason than I was able to bookmark the link Dick posted. It looks great for many reasons. I just printed off a few of the articles from that site for future reference. Good luck.- Top

Re: C2 front align W/radials
In all that link I had not seen before had some great reference material.
And as far as alignment specs - use the string like the race car guys do
Larry did you find the specs there? Ok I found them, they are not under C2 C3 where logic would have it.- Top
