Where do the 2 wires with the barrel connectors that come out of the wiper pump go ? I think they went to the 69 only solinoid on the drivers side of the pump. Does any one have a picture of the connections? Thanks Brad

Does this help?
Can't remember who I "stole" this picture from.
It's not my original.

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
Hi. I have a 69 w/o air, this is the pic I am looking for, but can't find explanations of the letters / items they are pointing to.
Anyone have details of this pic?
Thanks,

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
I might. I'm still on the road, coming back from San Diego. Will be home tomorrow night (Tuesday). I'll check my picture library.

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
Thanks Chuck,
I'm starting to look pretty silly just standing here with these rubber wiper washer hoses in my hand.

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
Here ya go. This is correct to the best of my recollection.
My 69 is on top of the lift, and not accessable at the present time.

A - From the wiper fluid reservoir
B - both ports to "G" then on to "D"
C - To headlight washers
D - From washer pump (see "B" above)
E - To "F" which goes to each wiper arm
F - T fitting to split washer fluid to each wiper arm (see "E" above)
G - Combines both outputs of the washer pump (see "B" above)1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
The little "check valves" or "one way" valves are important. They keep fluid in the hoses so that when you press the squirter, you get instant water. If you don't have the check valves, water/fluid flows back, and you have to keep "pumping" to get fluid to the windshield and/or the headlights.
IIRC, a quick push of the button will work the windshield washer. If you hold it down, it works the headlight washer.

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
O/k, I found one in a box of parts from the guy I bought the car from. The T side posts are a little smaller diameter that the bottom post of the T, does that make sense?
And, from some diagrams I have found it appears I would need two of these T fittings; one for the wiper arm hoses as you mentioned and another to split the headlight washer hose.
Thanks again,

Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
There are two of these check valves == one behind each headlight pod where the hoses split to the upper and lower headlight washer nozzles. I know nothing of a check valve in the windshield washer circuit, but I am not that familiar with the 1969 washer system. I am sure there in none in the windshield washer system of my 1970, but you have a very different system for 1969O/k, I found one in a box of parts from the guy I bought the car from. Re: 69 wiper pump wiring
Seems I recall that is the case....smaller ends because the hoses have a smaller ID.O/k, I found one in a box of parts from the guy I bought the car from. The T side posts are a little smaller diameter that the bottom post of the T, does that make sense?

I'm sure there is a diagram in the AIM for the washer system.
