I am replacing radiator hoses in my 65 327/365, and getting conflicting GM numbers on both upper and lower hoses. Anyone have correct numbers ?

Ron------
The upper hose should be GM #3827368. The lower hose should be GM #3832170.
Possible reason for confusion: the 3827368 upper hose was discontinued from SERVICE in September, 1983 and replaced by GM #3777482. That's the hose that GM sold in SERVICE from September, 1983 until it was discontinued without supercession a few years ago. The curious thing here is that the 3777482 is an old part number dating back to about 1960. However, I can't find an original application for it but whatever it was, it's not Corvette. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1965 365hp radiator hose ?
Joe,
GM # 3777482 is listed in my 1963 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Oct. 62) for the following:
56-61 CORVETTE w/dual 4BC (1st design)
56-61 CORVETTE w/ F.I. (1st design)
My 1957 Chevrolet Parts Catalog lists 3728490 for 56-57 Corvettes w/ dual 4BC.
GM # 3728490 was discontinued in May 1960 and replaced with GM # 3777482.
Therefore, GM # 3777482 was probably used on 60-61 Corvettes w/ dual 4BC and F.I. (1st design).
I sold my 58, 59, 60, 61, and 62 parts catalogs several years ago.

Yes, I see that now; I checked things out too quickly earlier. The 3777482 is cataloged for 1958-61 Corvette with FI and SHP.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
