    62 Convertible Top Hardware

In the window channel of the 62 are 8-32 x 3/4" black oxide screws. Along the vertical portion of my top (rear or window) are what I call weld nuts (some people call them T nuts). Flat stock tapped to 8-32 making them nuts. Nothing else (i.e. washers).

In the top horizontal part I have ordinary 8-32 flat washers, internal star washers, and regular nuts.

Anyone know what was originally used?

    Thanks

Thanks Alan but I trying to describe the hardware that holds the driver & passenger door window channels into the convertible top frame.

        Stephan
Are you talking about the rubber on the convertible top that the top of the side window glass hits when rolled up?
