    C2 3367 More assistance Needed

I appreciate all who helped me this last week with my leaking fuel bowl. I have successfully fixed that issue, but now have another.

After shutdown, the carb is leaking from one of the secondary boosters. Can anyone help me identify possible reasons and then a solution to stop the leak?

    Thanks Frank

    Frank,

I will have to assume a couple of things here and give you my opinion and you know how opinions are. Everybody has one!

First it's hot outside and the carb is probably boiling the gas in the secondary bowl. That could be because of a wrong installation with the base gaskets. I'm assuming that it's an aluminum intake and boiling the gas should not be a problem with the properly installed base gasket. Also, the float level could be too high which can be checked by removing the site plug. If gas flows out readily, then the float is set too high. Go to your service manual to correct this problem.

Let us know the problem and answer when found. Might help someone else with the same problem.

      Joe,

Thanks for the reply. I apologize in advance for the multiple threads. I forgot to add the picture the first time, and edited my original post multiple times.

      I will post my solution.
