1966 JG: "The forward two spark plug wires on each side of the block are covered by ''flash'' chrome plated "V" shaped wire shields resembling "boomerangs" which attach to the engine block at the engine mounts and below the cylinder head surface. There is a small clip securing the two plug wires to the engine oil pan at the bottom of the "V" shaped shield on each side." p. 116
