What is the correct color for the front wheel hubs on a 65? Thanks!

Steven,

The front hubs, along with the rotor, were natural as cast. No plating or painting. Same for the grease cap.

Most rusted within days or weeks of new car delivery. Many were rusty sitting in dealer new car inventory and some were rusty when the new car transport truck delivered new cars to the dealer.

Thanks! I knew about the rotors, but was not sure about the hubs. I thought they were black for some reason.

Not only were 1965 hubs natural finish, so were every other 1965-82 with the possible exception of early 65's and/or those with drum brakes. 1963-64 received extensive chassis blackout which covered the drums and hubs as well as most of the rest of the chassis with a black coating.
