Not exactly a barn find, but pretty interesting anyway, still for sale I guess.

Re: Interesting long-term stored car
I didn't think original copper 55s had the red/white interiorAre they sure it's not a repaint? ...and the brake master cylinder is painted red, along with the breather cap, all original, really? "nothing has been changed on it" *cough* bulls*%t *cough*
My '56 was stored in a garage with a hardtop on it for 40+ years with 24K original miles and oh boy did I have to go through everything so it's safe and reliable. Even mine was painted at only 4 years old because the original paint was such crap by then.- Top

Re: Interesting long-term stored car
49,566 miles on a very early 55. a mid 70 bid would probably have bought the car. this is one of the most original 55. it was repainted before the owner took possession of it in 63. the copper color is the correct shade and it would have been easy for the owner to think copper was the original color. aside from the paint, all items except for a fuel pump and radiator hose and clamps were original. this is a car that a ncrs restorer would take hundreds of pictures.- Top
